Information we collect
- Contact and support information you choose to submit, including your name, email, company, phone number, message, selected topics and any business-location context you provide.
- MX account and workspace information, including your name, email, company, role and access permissions.
- Information from Google or another supported provider when you authorize a connection, including account identifiers and profile information, business accounts, locations, listing content, reviews and replies, and available performance data. We also process the credentials or authorization tokens needed to maintain that connection.
- Information you enter or generate in MX, such as location changes, reply drafts, approvals and audit history.
- Technical and usage information needed to operate and protect our website and services, such as request metadata, IP address, browser information, security checks and Cloudflare Turnstile results.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services and support you request.
- To create and administer MX accounts and workspaces, enforce access permissions, and connect and synchronize authorized business locations.
- To display reviews and available performance information, prepare manual or AI-assisted drafts, manage approvals and audit history, and perform actions you request or approve.
- To prevent spam, abuse and duplicate submissions, and maintain the security and reliability of our services.
- To meet legal obligations, maintain appropriate business records and protect our rights where necessary.
Google user data
MapLovin’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the MX features described to you, never for advertising, and we do not sell it.
When you use an AI-assisted feature, relevant content may be processed by an AI service provider to produce the requested draft or analysis. Transfers of Google user data for these features remain subject to the same Limited Use requirements.
Sharing and international processing
We share information with service providers that help operate our website and MX, including hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, usage analysis, support and AI processing. Cloudflare hosts the website and provides Turnstile abuse protection; Resend processes website contact-form email delivery.
We share information with connected business-listing providers when you request or approve an action. Information published to a business listing, such as a review reply, may become public on that provider’s service.
We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect people, systems or legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Such processing is subject to applicable legal requirements and contractual safeguards.
Cookies and browser storage
The marketing website does not currently run advertising or behavioural analytics. It stores your explicit light or dark theme preference in browser local storage. Cloudflare and Turnstile may use necessary cookies or similar technology for security and abuse prevention.
MX uses authentication and session technology to keep you signed in and protect access to your workspace. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings, although disabling necessary storage may affect service functionality.
The website does not store contact-form drafts in browser storage; reloading or leaving the page clears an unsent draft.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, provide services, maintain appropriate business and audit records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the information and its purpose; any applicable service agreement may specify additional retention requirements.
Disconnecting a provider or revoking access stops future access through that authorization but does not automatically delete information already stored in MX. You may separately request deletion as described below.
Account deletion and connected accounts
To request closure of your MX account or deletion of associated personal information, email privacy@maplovin.com from the address linked to your account and include your account email and company or workspace name. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or to protect the rights of other workspace members.
You can also revoke MapLovin’s access through your Google Account’s third-party connections settings, or through the settings of another connected provider. Revoking access is separate from requesting deletion of stored information.
Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, or to complain to a relevant authority. Contact privacy@maplovin.com to exercise a right. We respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
When your organization manages an MX workspace, its administrators control access and business records within that workspace. Requests concerning information managed on your organization’s behalf may require coordination with that organization.
Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service is completely secure; please protect your login credentials and only grant access to people you authorize.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or practices change, including when we add providers or features. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or request consent when required.
